Medisec Connect ("the Platform") is a UK-based online marketplace that connects Consultants, Private Clinics, and Practice Managers ("Employers") with Medical Secretaries ("Candidates"). The Platform is operated by Medisec Connect Ltd. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally authorised to work in the United Kingdom. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
Employers purchase time-limited Access Passes (7, 30, or 90 days) to browse Candidate profiles and initiate secure messaging. Once an Access Pass expires, messaging is automatically locked but existing conversation history remains visible. No refunds are issued for unused time on Access Passes.
Candidates may apply for a Verified badge by submitting identification documents, DBS certificates, proof of qualifications, and references. Verification is reviewed by our admin team and may be revoked if documents are found to be fraudulent or if platform policies are breached. A Verified badge does not constitute an endorsement or guarantee of competence.
Only Employers with an active or previous paid Access Pass may leave reviews for Candidates they have connected with. Reviews must be honest, professional, and factual. Medisec Connect reserves the right to remove reviews that violate our community standards.
Candidates may purchase Profile Boosts to receive featured placement in marketplace search results. Boosted profiles are displayed with a "Featured" badge for the duration of the boost period. Boosts do not affect verification status.

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Prices are displayed in GBP and include VAT where applicable. By making a purchase, you authorise us to charge your payment method. Access Passes are one-off purchases that expire at the end of their stated duration. Clinic passes with monthly payment plans will recur monthly until the pass period ends or the plan is cancelled. You will receive a reminder before your pass expires with the option to renew.
All content, design, and technology on the Platform is owned by Medisec Connect Ltd. You retain ownership of content you submit (profiles, messages, photos) but grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it on the Platform.
Medisec Connect acts as a marketplace and does not directly employ, manage, or supervise Candidates. We are not liable for any employment decisions, workplace disputes, or outcomes arising from connections made through the Platform. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
While we implement appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect the Platform, Medisec Connect Ltd shall not be held liable for any data breaches, unauthorised access to data, or loss of data arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to cyberattacks, third-party service provider failures, or user negligence in safeguarding their account credentials. Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their own accounts and devices.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for breach of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support. Upon termination, your access to the Platform ceases and your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
